ARRANGE TO HAVE THEM PICKED UP FROM US
1. How can I borrow a book?
Step one: Sign up to become a member of the library by filling the form above.
Step two: Look at the catalogue and request a book via email/Whatsapp
Step three: Arrange to pick up the book (via Dunzo, WeFast) or come pick it up from All Things Studio (please inform us before visiting).
Step four: Get in touch with us to return the book when you are done.
2. Can I come to see the books in person?
Due to COVID-19 and in the interest of safety, we do not allow in-person browsing for now. For now, you'll receive our catalogue once you fill the form above. We hope to see you in person very soon!
3. How many books can I borrow in a month?
Read the 'How it works' section above.
4. How much does it cost to be a member?
To be a member, you must pay INR 1000 as a security deposit (one time and refundable at exit), and a monthly charge of INR 250. We also offer a 3-month and 6-month plan.
5. What is the security deposit for?
The security deposit is collected at the time you join the library. In case the book comes back damaged or is lost, we will deduct the market price of the book from this amount. At all points of time, you would be required to keep a balance of INR 1000 as a security deposit with the library. If you choose to cancel your membership, the amount will be refunded to you.
6. How many copies of a book do you have?
Generally, we have only one copy of each book, as they have been curated from pre-loved collections. However, you will be informed if we have more than one copy.
7. Can I request you to order a book?
In case you would like a book you can email us with the name and author. If we are able to source a secondhand copy, we will definitely get it for you. However, since we do not buy books we cannot guarantee that ordering a book means us being able to source it.
8. How can I pay for my membership?
We accept payments via Google pay, bank transfers, UPI transactions and in-person cash payments at All Things Studio.
9. How do I cancel my membership?
Send us a message or email regarding your request and give us 3-5 business days to process the request.
9. When are you open?
We are open from 11 am to 6 pm, Monday to Sunday (except on public holidays).
10. How long can I keep the book?
The longest we allow a book to be kept is till the validity of your plan, after which you will be charged INR 10 per day till return.
11. Can I drop the book off directly at your office?
Yes, you can, but please get in touch with us to arrange an appointment for the same.
12. What do I do if the book is damaged when I receive it?
Considering all our books are preloved, they are slightly rough around the edges. However, they are all in good condition. If you feel you received the book in a bad condition, please send us a photo and get in touch with us immediately.
